Teachers work with each child individually to help them potty train. Students will focus on sight words and
numbers, letters, shapes, and color recognition. Teachers work with the students to ensure that they reach a variety of appropriate and meaningful developmental goals and receive the best education.
Toddlers learn through sensory experiences that enhance their cognitive, language, motor and social skills. They turn ideas into words and phrases to better express themselves, and practice the value of sharing and cooperating through group play.
Children at this stage start to develop friendships and gain confidence as they use their words and thoughts to interact with others. It is important for children to express themselves creatively.
Your two year old will gain many independent skills such as toileting, washing his/her own hands, independently feeding themselves. In addition to the self help skills they will begin to learn pre-writing skills, vocabulary building, sight words and name recognition.
You may even get some home work to take home too!
